Only going to expand Aultman West on Wales Rd. that includes a “full service ED.” Nothing about bringing any services to old Affinity facility.And the City of Massillon will still be stuck with empty buildings that will require ongoing maintenance, or the buildings can just be left to deteriorate into decaying husks.
Aultman will pay the city $2.06 million to cover expenses incurred at Affinity since its acquisition and also will purchase some equipment from the facility at market value, but it will not utilize any of the former Affinity buildings.
Aultman is basically buying the rights to eliminate any potential competition in Massillon
